We Are a Third Generation Opal Mining Family. Est in 1948 after my Grandfather emigrated to Australia in 1947 - ten pound poms.

Our first claim was made within the Now famous Olympic Field in Coober Pedy, Southern Australia which we continue to mine to this day alongside a second claim from 30 years ago.

We cut and polish in-house all Rough Opal - importing directly in rough to the UK.

in 1956 the "Olympic Australis" was found - it is said to be the largest and most valuable Opal ever found. This amazing Opal weighs 17,000 Carats and was named in honour of the Olympic games which were being held in Melbourne at the time.
